Sack those Suckers at PS3 Madden 10

PS3 Madden 10's pulse-pounding, hard-rocking soundtrack is another element that gives the game an added kick. Soundtracks have become synonymous with the games themselves, especially the Madden series. As a departure from other games, Madden 10 has decided to throw in some classics as well as current hits - and it will rock you. One gander at the song lineup should induce and impress: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

If all those features and upgrades haven't convinced you that PS3 Madden 10 is a masterpiece, then perhaps a trip through the sports video game timeline will. Maybe it's an obtuse comparison, lavishing platitudes on PS3 Madden 10, just because it blows every past video football game out of the water. Once you've given the older football video games the once-over, you can grasp why people are drooling over PS3 Madden 10. At the dawn of video game consoles, one of the top requests from every hardcore gamer was a football video game for their system, naturally. Trouble was, the video game consoles' abilities weren't as fully realized as gamers' football fantasies, so hardcore gamers had to make do with what was there. In any ads or promos, the manufacturers of this one insisted "all the excitement" of the genuine article. And since it was the only game in town, this is what passed for the gridiron. Those players don't even look human. That's just a harsh fact. You can tell by the image that the game wasn't much, but that's only the half of it. Technology was so inadequate back then, that every moving player flickered to the point where you could barely see the action. The "crowd" cheering sounded closer to a car running over gravel. No scrolling screen, either. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. It was yards better than that first one - people looked a bit more like people, the players no longer flickered, and gamers got their scrolling screen. Still needed work, though. That one caused a huge sensation upon its arrival to the video game world, and while it set a (slightly) higher standard, this wasn't the foundation for football video games to be built on. More time would pass in order for that to transpire. This next one reaped the benefits of the 8-bit gaming revolution, and people still rave about it to this day. This one held the top spot for football video game fans forever. Not hard to understand why that caught on - they were the first to really bring a more comprehensive simulation of football to the video game console. Graphics and sound were vastly improved, so for many years, this was the video football game. And given that they're making a new online version, there's still a following for it. That being said, PS3 Madden 10 still blows it away. Once you've viewed all the other games, have a gander at PS3 Madden 10.

Yes, technology has been good to the video game world in general, and the football video game has benefitted from it all. No need to keep bagging on the old stuff. We've made our point. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") Gamers are happy, and with good cause - PS3 Madden 10 really kicked this one through the goal posts. Better yet, the reviewers share the same level of PS3 Madden 10 love as the fans, always a good thing. Anytime you read a PS3 Madden 10 review, you'll see things like "realistic and enjoyable." No shocker - EA Sports has scored another touchdown with PS3 Madden 10. Don't listen to the naysayers and the contrarians - there are few games as great as PS3 Madden 10. Hey, each PlayStation sports video game is EPIC in its own way, but for our money, PS3 Madden 10 is the stuff legends are made of. In the video game world, PS3 football games begin and end with Madden. Along with its major popularity, this is also where you get to battle for bucks.

Now, PlayStation Madden 10 fans can go toe-to-toe and play video games for money. You'll be making touchdowns, and nabbing your foe's money, after you've educated yourself in all things Madden 10.
